Earth, Resumed

In Susan Curry's second novel, Earth, Resumed, the survivors of the Ripples experience the hardships of setting up a new society in Key West. Lawlessness, murder, arson and suicide thwart their attempts to create a Utopian existence. Finding a way to simply survive won't be enough when a new survivor arrives - wanting change. He wants to run the whole island according to his rules and his willingness to use violence brings the survivors to a breaking point. They are forced to choose sides as a dangerous struggle between good and evil unfolds.
