This compilation first discusses the formation of the teacher and the production of images by children. Following this, the authors present prospects, challenges and future implications for the development of the teaching profession in Nordic countries. The schooldays of children with hearing loss are assessed in terms of their perceived challenges due to hearing loss and peer support received from each other. The closing study describes how early childhood education of the Sami in Finland is implemented according to Sami early childhood educators.
