Earl loves everything about Christmas! He loves the snow and the cold and the lights! And his parents know. So he is surprised by their wish to skip Christmas this year or at least that's how he took the news that he was spending Christmas in the Caribbean. He does not want to give up snow and mistletoe for mango and calypso. But Earl soon realizes what Christmas is all about as he embarks on an island adventure that he will always remember.
