Dying Freedom

When tragedy strikes Leonardo's family, he is forced to move from his father's estate to a wealthy, aristocratic encomendero's hacienda. Hiding his identity as a horse tender apprentice and becoming the estate owner's daughter best friend, he is accused of conspiring with a secret movement to overthrow the estate owner. Leonardo becomes Beatriz' runaway partner on her quest to elude her arranged marriage. For Beatriz and Leonardo the war of independence becomes close and personal. Prejudice corners them on a balcony that holds their feelings and dreams. It is their moment in time and history.
