Like many children who have food allergies, Melissa felt limited and anxious when it came to everyday activities and especially when it came to trying something new. Her excuse for not participating was always, "I have food allergies!"
It wasn't until she realized that she was not the only one with a disability that she dared to expand her experiences. Not only did her world become wider and richer, her future was now unlimited. By monitoring what she ate, she found that she could be anything and do anything. She could Dream Big. No more sitting on the sidelines!
