Drawing Destiny

You'd think being an artist would be all about freedom, but trust me, sometimes it feels more like wrestling a tornado with a paintbrush. After the mess of my last relationship, I swore off anything that even hinted at vulnerability. Who needs it when you've got clay and canvas to pour your soul into, right? But when a chance meeting with Oliver-charming, infuriating, and undeniably magnetic-pulls me back into the art world I'd all but abandoned, I start to wonder if I've been hiding for too long. The studio becomes my battlefield, and every brushstroke is a little act of rebellion against the past. With Oliver's unyielding support and maddening grin, I'm learning to let go, to trust again, and maybe even to create something new and beautiful. But when the ghosts of my past threaten to pull me under, I have to decide: will I fight for the future I've only just begun to imagine, or let the weight of yesterday hold me back?
