Hundreds of years ago, the Spear family banishedall dragons to the four corners of the earth, where they posed no threat to human civilization. Today, the dragons are beginning to reemerge from exile. Thirteen-year-old Zach Spear's community is being terrorized by a dragon, but only he can actually see it. He has the gift of his ancestors: dragon sight. Saving the burning city is up to Zach, who must learn everything he can from his ancestors to defeat the dragon.
