Professor Colin Brown's lecture on Kierkegaard, TH 531: Winter, 1987 at Fuller Theological Seminary (USA) changed my life. I studied existentialism at UC Berkeley as a Philosophy student, but my exposure was quite secular and did not have chance to take Kierkegaard. I still remember the first class. After Professor Brown's lecture, I couldn't move out of the class, but I sat there alone for some time then started to weep. It felt like I finally found my philosophical ground where I can start building my philosophical home to live in. I have been researching and studying Soren Kierkegaard all my life since then. I wrote a poetry book (Korean) entitled, 'Either/Or' based on his philosophy and it is now part of Soren Kierkegaard library of Copenhagen. Over the years I collected lecture notes and want to share them with you. Primary note is from Colin Brown's lecture and Robert Solomon, Huber Dreyfus and from Gordon Marino. I pray that this little book will be helpful in your journey as an existentialist and Soren Kierkegaard's friend.
