Overview:
Tom the Turtle enjoys the simple life of singing, relaxing, and sunbathing by the side of his tranquil lagoon. Little does he know that everything is about to be turned upside down as his curiosity sparks an adventure that will change his life forever. Join Tom on his adventure as he meets new friends and learns some tips and tricks about reading music.

Through storytelling and rhyme, this book assists children in learning to read music notation. The pitch of the notes and the repertoire has been carefully chosen so that it best suits the learning needs of young children. 'Down to the Wire' is the first book in a series of four; with each book adding one new pitch to the previous pitches already learned until students know every note in the F Pentatonic Scale.
