Beskrivelse
Doug Bedwell's plays have delighted, annoyed, puzzled and entertained audiences in university, community, and small professional theatres alike. His works are diverse, and not easily categorized. Some are essentially realistic, but others are highly stylized, drawing on elements of Theatre of the Absurd, Surrealism, and the earlier Expressionist and Symbolist movements. Many of his plays are funny, though some are decidedly not. Regardless of tone, his plays are almost always an exploration of larger ideas.
Volume Two contains approximately 40 of the playwright's original works. Some of these plays are as short as a single page; others might take 40-60 minutes to perform. In addition, this Volume also includes Mr. Bedwell's English translation of Maurice Maeterlinck's little-known Symbolist masterpiece, The Death of Tintagiles.
