Doubting Thomas & The Ale House Conspiracies is the story of a young man who is discontent with his job who frequents his favorite bar, Ye Olde Ale House in the afternoons. He has recently fallen for a beautiful young attorney whom he met at the bar. In the coming weeks he also meets William Stanley, an older gentleman who resembles a famous comic book creator and who also has a hacking cough and a broken heart both of which originated from the terror attacks in New York on September 11th, 2001. In Thomas and Mr. Stanley's conversations, the latter discusses how his wife died and the controversial accusations that 9/11 was not as it seemed. Thomas along with his favorite bartender, Carey, is unsure of the old man's conspiracy theories are true. His 'knowledge' of different secret societies, including the Illuminati, The Knights Templar, Rosicrucians, Masons, Skull and Bones, Bilderbergs, and the New World Order has Thomas and Carey question his sanity. The conversations at the bar are filled with controversy and unsubstantiated claims, but it's not until Thomas searches for the meaning of Mr. Stanley's theories on his own and spends his time with his new attorney girlfriend does his mundane life become much more entertaining. The theories expressed in this novel are based on theories and accusations brought forth by the 9/11 truth movement which hit its peak in the mid 2000's. There are other theories discussed in this novel that propose that quite possibly the United States and Britain are part of the 12 tribes of Israel. Doubting Thomas & The Ale House Conspiracies is perhaps one of the most controversial and thought provoking novels that discusses the most horrific terror attack on American soil.
