Don't Cross Your Heart, Katie Krieg

Sophomore Katie Krieg finds a note in her backpack written with letters cut out of a magazine. The note accuses her of having a "thing" with the young, handsome lit teacher, Mr. Grayson. Who would do this? And why? Until this, her life was filled with choir practice, homework, and friends. More notes appear and tension mounts.
