Don't Call Me Dog Breath

Don't Call Me Dog Breath is the story of Dougie. He has autism and sometimes struggles with social skills. He wishes he has friends to play with. With the help of his teacher and his school counselor, he learns to handle his big feelings and to navigate social situations. Dougie joins a social skills group and finds that while each child struggles with different issues, they have a lot in common. The boys form a bond and before he knows it, he has friends. He discovers many successful people who also have autism when his class is assigned a project researching people with disabilities. Dougie realizes that he will be just fine!
