A grisly murder shocks the nation and launches Will Stewart and his police detective wife Andy in pursuit of old enemies. Lies and hatred fuel extremists bent on bringing down all that America stands for. A scam generates millions for domestic terrorist arms. And a credible threat against Will's former student and fellow pilot brings ratchets up the pucker factor. Cross-country pursuits, night flights, high-speed chases on the road and in the air take Will and Andy to the brink of disaster. Will's ability to make himself vanish and shed the bonds of gravity suddenly fall short when a new factor threatens to build a barrier between Will and Andy. Things get a little crazy when Will and Pidge find themselves aboard a pilotless airplane loaded with explosives and threatened by Air Force fighters--and the sinister purpose behind all of it is revealed.
