Discovering Rosie

At fifty-five, Rosemary Wickers seemed to have a wonderful life - senior level position in a job she loved in the Pentagon after retiring from the Army, a boyfriend (a decade younger!) who adored her, good friends.

Then the pandemic came along and laid bare, at least to her, how much she hadn't been dealing with.

Starting with a mother who thought she could snap her fingers and Rosemary would snap to attention, an ex-husband who'd wormed his way further into her family than she was, a son who believed his father over her and the increasing feeling that there was more she wanted to do in life.

When her best friend challenged her to either find out what she really wanted to or give up and stop whining about it, Rosemary was stunned. At first.

But then she started thinking about it.

Then she started exploring and researching.

And planning.

And an amazing thing happened - She discovered herself.
