Richard Minnelli is the United Kingdom's equivalent of the American Dream. Rags to riches. Humble beginnings as owner of a quaint Glasgow antiques shop, but now fronting artifacts shows for the BBC, prime time no less, and responsible for the procurement of lavish goods that furnish the mansions of the rich and famous all across the land. His stock continues to rise. Can anything intrude on his stardom? Enter his nemesis, Little Richard, occupant of his underwear, the antagonist, invader of his thoughts, the voice he blames for the serial infidelity and involvement with a gang of local crooks. Can he harness his mind and concoct a plan to eradicate the demons, silence the racketeers, and preserve his public integrity, or is fame destined for obscurity? Only time will tell if the battle with his inner monsters is one that can be conquered.
