»Special Security Measures During the Placement of Mentally Ill Persons under Public Law«: The thesis is dedicated to the topic of coercive measures in the public placement of mentally ill persons from a constitutional perspective. It introduces the basics of placement law and special security measures. The focus is on the constitutional question of the justification of interference with fundamental rights through measures such as observation, fixation or sedation. In addition, procedural rights and human rights from the ECHR and UN-CRPD are analyzed.
