The Diary of a Divorce is written primarily as a diary in the first person, present tense. Cecily is 39 with a small child, in the throes of divorcing a vicious husband.Cecily's grown-up daughter comes to read her mother's diaries and uncovers the extraordinary truth about her love life.Ultimately the reader is presented with the exhilarating possibility that the angst of a child of divorced parents can be resolved over time. And, that after divorce may come real happiness for those involved.
