Diamonds of the Arctic Night

Alex can't remember who he is. Someone hit him very hard and he awakened on a star trader headed for the planet Tjardiz. He finds himself involved in multiple factions trying to gain possession of something of incalculable wealth. He is nearly killed in the process, after being kidnapped. Left alone, but alive, he is above the arctic circle on the planet Tjardiz and is rescued by an Iñupiat woman, who is part of a research team working for a huge mining company. Together, they discover the surprising secret of why such vast fortunes were being spent on mercenaries, hired to obtain what was found in a cave the research area. Alex and Anjij flee for their lives and Alex begins to remember who he is and what he was designed to do from birth. Alex goes hunting his foes and results are terrible. However, he is one man. Can he hope to stand against well funded mercenaries and drug cartels? Who is behind all of the atrocities and will they be brought to justice? What about Anjij, the beautiful Iñupiat woman? Does he have a chance at a good life with her, now that he knows who and what he is?
