"Skye was finally free from her family as her and C.J. drove down the highway leaving Poteau, Oklahoma on their way to California. It seemed she would never leave her family's grasp, always in her mother's home and taking care of her problems, but now she could finally leave the sadness of all her lose behind her down interstate 40." Skye had always lived in the same small town but now she was leaving. But C.J. and her never made it. They break down in the middle of nowhere and there is only one store that seems out of place in the nothingness. Skye falls into a strange new life she never expected but was always coming.
