Determination of Urinary Protein Among Antenatal Patients

This study was to determine urinary protein among antenatal patients attending clinic at the general hospital Ilorin, Kwara State.

One hundred samples were collected for urine chemical Analysis using both reagent strips and Sulphosalicylic acid test method. The total result revealed that the two methods used for the urine chemistry reduced significantly .

Therefore it was discovered that the presence of urinary protein (proteinuria) is not a rampant disease among patient that are attending antenatal clinic at the general hospital Ilorin, Kwara State.
