Determinants of Growth of Small Scale Businesses

The determinants of growth of small scale businesses that were investigated were three; a) Size of business loans and its relationship with growth of stock, b) Level of education of the business owner and operators of small scale businesses, and its effects on record keeping, c) Location of the Business and its relationship to stock turn over. The study established that loan size determines upto 51% of growth of stock; r = 0.7130); Level of education determines upto 64% of proper business record keeping; r= 0.799; while Location determines upto 37% of business stock turnover, r = 0.611).
