Beskrivelse
Bob and his friend James love to play practical jokes on each other. But what happens when a joke is taken too far? Who would have guessed that it would result in a renewed faith in God? In Sheldon A. Woodson's "Destination - Sowing and Reaping," a joke winds up taking two friends to heaven and back and even to the gates of hell. When Bob dies, James walks right by him, playing along with the "joke" at first, but all too soon finds himself blamed for his buddy's murder by yet another joker. The reader finds out what happens to the victim and his friend, but James' friends and co-workers make quick judgment regarding his innocence. Those same friends and co-workers even learn a few lessons along the way. Mr. Woodson takes the reader on a journey in search of truth. Traveling from reality to dreams, and from heaven to earth, lessons are learned and truth prevails. With devotion to God, the characters and the reader are allowed to see what happens when you die. With Judgement imminent, both on earth and beyond, God's power prevails. This work is both stimulating and inspirational. The fast paced story holds the reader's attention from the very first page through the last, with thugs at the heartstrings from both God's glory, and the evil possibilities that oppose this all powerful love. Even the potential of the afterlife is explored. As sensational and dramatic as fine literature can be, DESTINATION makes a point of emphasizing the importance of faith. The imaginative, yet somehow telling, story doesn't fail to cause the reader to wonder about his or her own allegiances and provides ample thought-provoking dialogue and character representations. You will enjoy the story itself, as well as the fine-tuned writing style of author Sheldon A. Woodson. Still, though, be prepared. The effect of the author's impressive prose is to provide readers with more than simply a book to read, but a desire to question one's own faith and place in this world. Afterward, you'll thank the author for having given you that chance
