Beskrivelse
The right of correction in unfair competition law is an almost unkown legal remedy in Germany. In Spain, however, it is called "the sharpest sword of unfair competition." This volume examines the ultimately very different characteristics of both national rights of correction as well as their enforcement. The relevant provisions are analyzed and criticized in detail considering judicial decisions. The author concludes that the comparably extensive, but non-binding European provisions for the right of correction did not contribute to the harmonization of these rights, at least not in Germany and Spain. It is also not conducive the consumer's information.
