In terms of statistics, Dennis Nilsen is generally regarded to Britain's second most prolific male serial killer after Harold Shipman. Serial killers are, by their very nature, all odd, but even by the standards of serial killers Dennis Nilsen was pretty weird. A number of famous serial killers have indulged in necrophilia but Nilsen took this grisly hobby to absurd lengths. Nilsen would put a dead body in a chair next to him and watch television with it. He would talk to dead people as if they were still alive. Nilsen would even sit down with a corpse and have dinner with it.
