Demon Protection Plan

Since her mom is human, she's no help when half-demon Kasidy starts to come into her powers. Her father only visits every so often, which leaves Kasidy to her own devices when figuring out her abilities. But, an attack at gunpoint traps Kasidy between brimstone and the hard human world. Turns out, her assailant is part of a gang organization. Needing her testimony, the police put her under the protective custody of Decland Kerrigan. The sexy Irish cop is in no mood for her whining, when they are both stuck in the woods by themselves with little too do. Kasidy is thrown when the cocky, smug Decland gives her a run for her money on the comeback front. Something about him is different though and she doesn't want to admit he attracts her. But the gang is out for blood and there is little time to play about the idea of romance. Will Kasidy stay in her rut of being the lone wolf or give in to her temptation for the alluring cop she craves to hate? And how far will the gangsters go to get Kasidy off the trial?
