How far does the Earth travel in a 1/36,000th part of a second? It may surprise the reader that the answer is virtually 32.64 inches, what Prof Thom called "a megalithic yard." And how far does it travel in a 36,000th part of a second using a theoretical year of 360 days? Again it may surprise the reader to find that it is virtually 33 inches - a Sumerian yard of 50 shusi. Ezekiel and Revelations describe "The city of God" which measured "12,000 furlongs" - a mistranslation of "great cubits" and the city of God was Babylon where Ezekiel was held prisoner and shown the Temple of Marduk by the priests. Obviously the Earth was surveyed in the remote past and this book is an attempt to uncover some of the origins of the ancient measurement systems including the lost "great" and "sacred" cubits of the Bible and antiquity.
