Beskrivelse

The code has been cracked. I am very excited to make available this re-decipherment and re-translation of the Thothmosis IV sarcophagus texts. This book follows my 2013 book entitled "Egyptian Hieroglyphic Decipherment Revealed" where I show evidence that Ancient Hebrew and Ancient Egyptian are much more closely related than scholars have thought. In these works I show how to decipher so that others can have the joy of this pursuit that I have had. I have written this for everyone who holds some curiosity about Egypt or Historical Linguistics. This present work provides a very compelling proof of my thesis. I have been doing this work part time on and off for about 27 years, among studying Historical Linguistics, Ancient Hebrew, and examining various languages. In this work I have succeeded in transliterating symbol to Hebrew letter in a strictly regular fashion and then translating the text, as if it were Hebrew, into English. The languages are not the same, but they are very close. The present results are very promising, suggesting that decipherment will advance more rapidly now. Earlier this year I had only been able to read scattered words and phrases, but with a little further work and finding a text that was not too long or too short, I have been able to decipher and translate most of the text, with only scattered words and phrases unknown. Rather than being able to read less than 20% of a hieroglyphic text, we are now probably able to read at least 80% of many texts. The translation does appear very idiosyncratic, and this is presumably due to some mistakes and also due to the source language being very different from ours. In spite of the idiosyncrasies I think it would be impossible to illuminate such text as I have unless my thesis is true. Example: in column 14 of the curved end we read " Besides the day will compliment the transport D abide love from her they have space help to support God to me prepare love . . ." That example is a bit less idiosyncratic than usual. The letter 'D' seems to be in isolation and is possibly a single letter word, though would be pronounced as a syllable. The texts include all of the Hebrew transliterations. I have included quotes of the hieroglyphic portion, but the full hieroglyphic text appears in "The Tomb of Thoutmosis IV" by Theodore Davis, Duckworth Egyptology series. There is contact information listed if you have trouble to obtain Davis' book, then by request I can send study material for those doing work in decipherment. A Historical Linguistics and Egyptology Conference is forthcoming in 2019, pending sufficient interest. Top research paper submissions will lead to free hotel nights.
