Four friends decide to go rock climbing on Barnecliffe Crag just north of Rochfield on a Sunday morning. One of the climbers, a novice, falls to her death. It wasn't an accident. That is the finding of the post mortem. As DCI Sutherland and his team investigate, they find that there is a lot more to this death and it goes to the very heart of government, and the Northern Ireland Peace Process. DCI Sutherland and the rest of the team at Rochfield CID find that their investigations lead to the very top of Government - but can they find the proof of this involvement or will they have to settle for second best? This addition to the Rochfield Mystery series is as much a political thriller as a murder mystery. The action takes place in Rochfield, Belfast and London as the killer is tracked down and brought to Rochfield.This is the seventh of twelve episodes in the series.
