What would you do if you were caught in the middle? 14 year-old Deanne T. Summers knows that starting life as a high school freshman isn't going to be easy. Deanne didn't count on having her loyalty tested to her childhood friends, the Southgate Avenue crew, when she befriends a new clique at Stonywood High School.
