Jason and Anna Connors, on a reverse Pacific sail from Hawaii to Seattle have no idea the US economy has defaulted. Unknowing, they sail for a month while the fabric of social control frays and their world changes. Sneaking back into their own country, they find temporary safety in pocket canyons of Big Bend before eventually having to seek better shelter and ultimately, a place to rebuild their life. Follow them as they face harsh realities of social meltdown. Learn with them as they discover how to piece together a future without electricity, technology, or government controls.
