Daughter, You are Treasured and Loved

Your daughter has a very special piece of your heart, and as a parent, your influence in her life is remarkably special. When you give the precious gift of time and love to your daughter and prioritize her as an important part of your life, the impact can last for generations. There is no better way to show Christ’s love than to actively pray for your daughter. Whether she is a very young infant or a grown adult, the impact of your prayers can alter and change the direction of her life. God can use you, his faithful servant, to be a strong encourager and prayer warrior for your daughter. Even if your daughter is far from the Lord right now, prayer with faith is your best and greatest hope. Speak into her life through your words and through your prayers.

     Sometimes in prayer for my daughter, I find myself saying the same things over and over again. I wanted to write a book that gives some ideas for more varied prayers. This 8.5x8.5, 240 page, hardcover and full color book is a tangible way to let your daughter know you are praying for her. The book contains 40 different prayer themes. Each day consists of a short verse and prayer that corresponds to the weekly theme. Throughout the book there are many opportunities for you to bless your daughter by writing down personalized notes, thoughts and memories that she can read and reflect upon now or in the future. There are also places for you to include pictures of your choice that you would like your daughter to keep. If applicable, it is highly recommended that both parents pray together and fill out this book. This book is a prayer legacy book. After you are through, give the book to your daughter. By taking the time to pray daily for her you are leaving a strong Christian legacy and a godly inheritance. You are letting her know that you deeply value and care for her and that she is treasured and loved. There is no greater gift.
