Every day we create more and more data than at any other time in human history, millions of research data, videos and social networks are accessed daily. Today we all contribute to this experience through internet research, link access and social networking through smartphones and computers. Intelligent applications and systems are tracking information about our lives, preferences and what we do. In organizations transactional foundations are used to track patterns and trends for complex decision making at any organizational level. In this unit we will have an extensive database base, from its functional structure, from information processing and consulting, through SQL language, to the construction of relational data models.
