Elias' quest to avenge Thevinguard has kept him from his home for thirteen long years, thirteen years that, for Elias, have been passed in torment. As a servant of Angmar, and with no true understanding of what he is, Elias no longer has the ability to choose the life he would live. Bound to evil he is the bringer of death, his memories have long since fled him, leaving him alone and bitter within the grasp of his enemy. Alas, those who he chose to leave behind have not been so forced to forget. Rynn clings to the memory of her son and though it has been so long will not lose faith that he is lost to them forever. But it is within Krea that Elias' hope for the future resides. She was young when he fled his home, but she recalls the lad who was her champion. Krea has taken hold of her gift, she wears the shroud of the reaper well and through her light she alone must fight against the darkness within the one who she was destined to love.
