Danny Who? Four Decades in Irish Music is the story of Tom Dahill, born in St Paul, Minnesota smack dab in the middle of the twentieth century, whose vivid account of the dangers and delights of life as a travelling musician makes his story read like a novel. Beginning with the heady days of the early folk and rock and roll scene, the story follows Tom from east coast to west coast, across to Ireland, down to Louisiana and up to the backwoods of northern Wisconsin. Along the way he encounters people from all walks of life, learning a little from each of them.
