Dangerous Secrets at AUTUMN HOUSE by Margaret J Carr There was something rather sad about the old house and its inhabitants. In a street just off the main thoroughfare of the small town, this once grand townhouse had been converted to six self-contained flats. A communal front door led to a central staircase and lift, more often 'out of order' than serviceable for the buildings' retired residents.Autumn House, along with a portfolio of other converted flats in and around the town, was owned by a bullying landlord, more interested in his profits than the safety of his tenants, but even he is disgrunted when a body is found in Flat 4, and it looks like a case of murder.An ordinary block of flats in a normal town, but there are more hidden and dangerous secrets amongst this group of tenants that you can shake a stick at.Who would imagine there is a heady mix of intrigue, dishonesty, narcissism, blackmail and even S and M happening behind closed doors. There has been one killing but who will stop at nothing to keep their dangerous secrets well and truly hidden. Maybe only a fire can solve this dilemma?
