Liberty Ronson had no memory of her past. She now lived reclusively and spent her time writing novels about a team of special operatives who conducted secret missions that would be denied by the military if any of the team members were caught or the missions were unsuccessful. Her books were best sellers and she was being pressed for film rights. For some reason Liberty was hesitant to make them into movies. What was it that stopped her?



Devon Brentwood worked as a private investigator after retiring from his military career. One of Liberty's books was given to him to read by a very concerned old team mate. The plot was an almost blow-by-blow account of one of their previous top secret missions. A mission from over 20 years ago. Whoever wrote this had to have been there but none of the team would give away these secrets. So, who was this author? How did she come by the information? Devon had to find out. And he had to get this potentially explosive and dangerous information out of the public arena - fast!
