Beskrivelse

For almost twenty years, two next-door families of different ethnic and social backfrounds--Kaminskys and Sorkokins--living in Donetsk, Ukaraine, have established and maintained a close relationship based on respect and trust. Besides seeing each other on a daily basis, they shared celebratory occasions, and even spent many vacations together. All the above fell apart when the "Pandora's Box" of evil, caused by the Russian agression and nationalism, released a wave of hatred and terror, breraking up long-term, fake or true, friendships, and persecuting or murdering many families. The friendship between the Kaminsky and Sorokin families, believed to be based on mutual trust, is just one of many stories revealing the truth and consequences of betrayal. The beginning of the tragic end of this relationship starts when Ivan Sorokin, a father of two, first solicits sex from Aryna Kaminsky, the underage daughter of the "best" family friends, then later on, when the Russian army invades the Eastern region of Ukraine, he evicts the entire Kaminsky family from their home, and ultimately rapes her. Aware of the crimes committed in the region, Ivan leaves Donetsk and moves to Moscow. But Aryna, with the help of her boyfriend Fadey, and a CIA agent, locate his weherabouts and eventually bring him to the Hague War Crimes Tribunal. Arynaand Fadey move to the United States. Elizaveta, Ivan's daughter and Aryna's alleged best friend, a psychology graduate, following in tthe steps of her father, a career policeman turned into an evil pro-Russian militia commander, first works with Russian authorities as a sadistic interrogator of the captured pro-Ukrainian detainees, then later on joins the FSB agent training unit in Moscow. Upon the completion of the preparatory courses, Elizaveta arrives in the United States as a sleeper cell spy, based on refugee status, claiming the false identity of Oksana Panchenko, a true victim of the Russian persecution. However, aware of her hard-to-resist sex appeal, ambitions, and prone to a luxury life-style, she ignores her assigned "patriotic" duty, and embarks on a "beyond-her-abilities" lifestyle full of surprises and schemes. This leads her to a tragic end-gasme fallout.
