A novel based on the Senghennydd coalmine tragedy of 1913 when 439 men and boys lost their lives. Cwmwl dros y Cwm is a historical novel based on the fictional experiences of 12 year old John Williams, who moves to Senghenydd with his family from north Wales as his father seeks work in the coalmines of the south. Tir na n-Og Award winner 2014.
