Cursed Eternal

She is a vampire, a creature outside of humanity and therefore no longer subject to what makes a woman human.

She is a woman with no identity, no unique attributes or special distinctions.

Inside her, she senses the darkness abated and slumbering, giving her peace for the moment. She sighs, if nothing else thankful for the short reprieve from her bane that might last another two days before it awakened again.

The idea of having to feed again terrified her.
