Curls

Curls is an interactive children's book written and illustrated by Chelsea M. Heard. Curls takes the reader through the busy life of Mackenzie Madison as she gets ready for school. Everything in the story seems to be going well, until Mackenzie realizes she has to tackle her wild, crazy curls Mackenzie tries to morph and change her hair, but that soon leads to an unsuccessful match. She then realizes that her hair is what makes her unique, and soon accepts her long, curly mane as a way to separate herself from others. In the back of the book, the reader will also be provided with pages to draw him or herself in multiple scenarios. The reader not only gets to enjoy an uplifting story, but also gets the chance to be creative My hopes are that you and your children love the book as much as I do, making it a perfect classic for all families to enjoy.
