Curious Carmelita

Curious Carmelita tells the story of a young coatimundi who lives in the mountains of Southeast Arizona. Her family thinks Carmelita's questions are obnoxious, and that her Abuela's stories are a waste of time. However, when a hungry jaguarundi shows up, it is one of Abuela's stories combined with Carmelita's curiosity that save the day. Curious Carmelita includes an appendix of Nature Notes about coatimundis, jaguarundis and other creatures that live in Carmelita's neck of the woods. Written by Patricia McFadden.
