The booklet is the first in a series on cultural exploration. Wines and cheeses, their pairing, the beauty of the arts, and startling locations are discussed for those looking for new ideas, and an introduction into all things cultivated. The world is awash with wonders, yet far too many people are far too busy to research and explore all that awaits. Thus, when time for learning and exploration arrives, the first question is, 'Where to start?' The Cultural Exploration series is designed to deliver brief, time saving, introductions, clues, and tips on wines, travel, and what & where to explore. Everyone, everywhere is unique, which is a lovely actuality, and to know, appreciate, and accept all that variety is the right course. Yet, in truth, in his book The Innocents Abroad, Mark Twain, said it best. 'Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime.' (1869)
