Since Charles was a baby he realized that once his big brown eyes became the least bit teary he got his way. He used his tears as a secret weapon. This worked from his cradle all through the second grade. He got away with it every time. That is until he meets his third grade teacher, Ms. Edwards, who teaches him a valuable lesson.
