Creating a Statuette

This book about how to model a statuette is offered to help students and serious amateurs in their endeavors. Avard Fairbanks' statuettes - "Pele, the Hawaiian Volcano Goddess" and "Smoke Signal" - were photographed as a systematic process, and explanations are included, stressing the elements of design and anatomy.
