Beskrivelse
"Corporate Social Responsibility and Leadership" provides the needed tools for local and global business leaders - whether entrepreneur, CEO, executive, officer, or manager- to act in a legal, ethical, and socially responsible manner. Acting in a responsible way will require business leaders to be cognizant of various stakeholder interests as well as the ability to balance conflicting constituencies in a fair manner. The result should be the creation of long-term, sustainable value, not "merely" for the shareholders but also for the employees, customers, communities, and all the stakeholders of the organization, including society as a whole. Besides the author, a few of the other contributing writers to this book from Afghanistan, Thailand, Pakistan, and Argentina are Bahaudin G. Mujtaba, Seeting "Grace" Zaelor, Muhammad Zeb Khan, and Isabel Rimanoczy. It is hoped that the book supplies a reminder, a rationale, and a guide for legal, ethical, and socially responsible behavior, as well as a warning of the "fruits from the poisonous tree"; and consequently the book serves as a tool for true business success, stakeholder responsibility, and organizational and societal sustainability.
