Converstations with Mr. Hooker

For those of you new to the Conversations with Mr. Hooker series the first two books had actual chapters with subject matter such as bar poetry and love in volume one and God, nature and family in book two. Starting book three the format is in the order that the works were written. Much like your conversations are in real world your conversations with Mr. Hooker will pop all over the place. Mr. Hooker like many people in life has had his ups and downs with successes and failures most notably in the area of love and financial arenas. He has had issues with and has overcome depression on several occasions in his life before realizing he even suffered from such an affliction. The poems and songs in this volume four show that as a writer his skills have improved where he can write about past and present issues drawing not just from experience but the emotional state that goes with these experiences. Most songs are written to a cadence and contain no actual music, not Mr. Hookers bag I am afraid at least not at this moment in time. Most can be sang with bit of a twang, country music or gospel being the most likely style that goes best with these works. There is some raps (Mr. Hooker) style in each of the books. Best one to date is in book three called "Sixty-four and here to stay for a while". I sincerely hope you enjoy these conversations.
