The aim of this book is to understand the evolution of the central project office of the State of Minas Gerais from the point of view of innovation. Created in 2003, GERAES represented an administrative innovation in the Minas Gerais public sector, as it implemented project management methodology to intensively monitor the government's strategic projects. The research therefore sought to identify the most significant changes from 2003 to 2014, as well as to identify the factors that contributed to the permanence or discontinuity of the innovations.
