Evie is the most wanted person in the galaxy. Being a citizen of the Boseman, the spaceship has first priority rights to colonize the planet Eysell. But the Ark, a rival spaceship, wants to take over Eysell and will kill Evie to do so. A corrupt councilman from the Arc tries to hide Evie's identity, but Adam, the man who loves her, helps her escape with Marshal Morgan. Adam pays a high price for his loyalty: he has to work with Mother Naomi, the cruel leader of the Children of Jesus, who also covets Eysell. As Adam and Evie struggle to survive and reunite, they wonder if their love can overcome the distance and the danger that separates them.
