Beskrivelse
Confidence is Basic to Success.
The Book of Psalms is a book of poetry. It is the most influential poetry in history. The book conveys a common economic theme: the legitimacy of confidence.
Confidence is basic to success. Without confidence, entrepreneurs would not commit resources in the hope of profit. They would hold onto what they have until it was consumed, and then there would not be economic growth.
What is the basis of this confidence? The psalms answer: trust and obey, for there's no other way. Any other recommended system is a delusion.
The message: "Nice guys finish first...eventually."
Some of the topics include ethical cause and effect (individuals), a comprehensive inheritance, ethics rather than power as the basis of wealth, deliverance of the poor, ownership, a trustworthy inheritance, an uncertain inheritance, the futility of riches, the irrelevance of status, deliverance from poverty, life's slippery slope, protecting the weak, exploitation and deliverance, charitable lending, upward social mobility, and this favorite: buy low, sell high.
